Auf Grundlage von Lesermeinungen, die KinDaKi.de zugegangen sind, sind sich aktuell zuziehende Eltern nicht sicher, wie die Betreuung für ihr Kind in Potsdam organisiert ist. Demnach besteht auch im Bornstedter Feld nicht die geringeste Möglichkeit, einen Kitaplatz zu bekommen.
Nach Angaben der Stadt sei es völlig normal, dass der Weg zur Kita 30 Minuten dauern könne und damit die Gewährleistung der Kitaversorgung mehr als gewährleistet sei.
Denn dort, 30 Minuten entfernt, sind die Kindertagesstätten unterbestzt. Im Stern und am Schlaatz sind rund 200 Plätze frei und warten darauf, mit Leben gefüllt zu werden.
Im Interview mit der PNN äußerte sich Jugendamtsleiter Norbert Schweers beschwichtigend: „Bis jetzt hat sich das am Ende alles wieder hingerüttelt“. Sein Amt bleibe dabei aber nicht untätig. Vielmehr schaue man sich jetzt noch einmal genau die Wartelisten der Träger und auch die Betriebserlaubnisse der Einrichtungen an, um entsprechende Anpassungen vorzunehmen.
